Promote Hindu Dharma in villages: TTD EO

Tirupati: One of the chief objectives of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam(TTD) is propagation of Hindu Sanatana Dharma and the prime role of Dharma Pracharaks is to take up wide publicity campaign on Hindu Dharma even in remote villages of AP, said TTD EO  Anil Kumar Singhal. The valedictory meet of the fifth training programme of Dharma Pracharaks took place at SVETA building in Tirupati on Saturday. 

The programme was jointly organised by Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP) wing of TTD with Samarasatha Foundation. Both have taken up awareness of Hindu Dharma in 300 Villages in AP.  EO, who took part in the valedictory function, said, the Dharma Pracharaks should enhance the publicity campaign on Hindu Dharma in remote villages with a concrete action plan. "Form committees and take up  wide publicity", he said.

He said, TTD has been constructing Sri Venkatswara Swamy temples in SC, ST, BC and fishermen colonies. "We are also giving training in Archakatvam to the youth hailing from these remote areas so that they can render priesthood services in the temples of their respective areas. Our SVBC channel is airing an animation series on Venkatachala Mahatyam for the children. We are also sending our publications to the libraries in district head quarters as a part of Dharmic promotion activity. 

The Srinivasa Kalyanams should be performed in the areas where Dharma Pracharaks are located", he opined SVETA Director Chandra Sekhar Manda, HDPP Secretary Ramana Prasad, All India Vidya Bharati Vice-President Ramakrishna, Treasurer Vishnu were also present.
