AP DGP inspects police quarters in Guntur
Guntur: Director General of Police RP Thakur visited police quarters at Vidyanagar here on Sunday night and enquired about problems in the quarters.
He said that all the police are like one family and said that he would try to solve problems in the police quarters. He would share the problems of the police as a head of family. He interacted with the family members of Gulsha Vali who died recently.
He sought to know whether police quarters were sufficient or not. He informed that he would try to construct new quarters with modern facilities. Gulsha Vali’s wife said that though her husband died four months ago, she did not receive any benefits from the government.
The DGP assured her that he would try to release benefits from the government as early as possible. Later, he visited ACB office complex constructed at Guntur Municipal Corporation (GMC) and appreciated the building construction.
Guntur Range DIG KVV Gopala Rao, Guntur Urban SP Ch Vijaya Rao, Guntur Rural SP Venkata Appala Naidu were among those participated.
