Jagan’s illegal assets should be handed over to State: Uma
Amaravati: Minister for Water Resources Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao demanded that the Central government should hand over the illegal properties of YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to the State government. He said the illegally amassed Rs 43,000 crore by Jagan belonged to the State and the public have the right on it.
Addressing a press conference at the Secretariat at Velagapudi, Uma Maheswara Rao explained that Jaganmohan Reddy’s property was attached by the Enforcement Directorate and Central Bureau of Investigation as he was the prime accused in 11 cases under Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
Uma Maheswara Rao alleged that Jagan was delaying trial in his cases by joining hands with the BJP at the Centre. However it would not be possible for him to come out of the cases, the Minister opined.
