Swachh Bharat held at bus station

Tadepalligudem: Swachh Bharat programme was organised on the premises of RTC bus station here on Sunday.

MLA P Manikyala Rao and others actively took part in the programme. They cleaned the premises to make it free from  plastic disposable items and garbage.

The MLA expressed his displeasure over the unclean premises and directed the RTC officials to take care of hygiene in the bus station. 

He asked the authorities to ban plastic use on the bus station premises and tell shop keepers not to throw plastic waste on the premises. 

The MLA also inspected dilapidated toilets.  He suggested for construction of new toilets. 

He promised to talk to managing director of the RTC for the uplift of the bus station.
