5 lakh will get houses, says Minister P Narayana

Rajamahendravaram: Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana has said that the State government will construct about five lakh houses under Housing for All Scheme in the State and spending an amount of Rs 30,000 crore in this regard.

He inspected the houses in Mandapeta on Monday and said the government was very much particular to hand over the houses as early as possible to the beneficiaries. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was keen in this regard and directed the officials not to compromise on quality of the work. The government's aim was to provide house to all the needy in the State.

He advised the people to avail the schemes judiciously and the houses would be allotted to true beneficiaries. Any irregularities in this regard also to be viewed seriously. MLA Vegulla Jogeswara Rao said the government sanctioned many houses in Mandapeta and thanked Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for sanctioning the houses. The houses would be handed over to the beneficiaries shortly.
