Strive to achieve 14% GSDP, NGOs told
Eluru: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, after opening the NGO Home at Powerpet here on Tuesday, appealed to the government employees to cooperate with the government in achieving 14 per cent GSDP.
The Chief Minister recalled that within a short period the State has achieved two-digit growth in spite of adverse conditions. “The government employees should work with responsibility to serve the people in a better way and in implementing the welfare schemes,” he said.
Asserting that the government has been sympathetic towards the problems of the employees, he recalled that despite fund crunch, the employees were given 42 per cent fitment.
Chandrababu Naidu appealed to the government employees to help the government in providing corruption-free administration to the people. He released Rs 42 lakh for the completion of the Eluru NGO Home.
State NGOs Association president P Ashok Babu assured full cooperation from the employees to the government. He lauded Chief Minister for his unstinted support for the welfare of the employees. Koyyalagudem Employees Association presented Rs 2 lakh for the development of Amaravati.
