Yanamala Ramakrishnudu expresses solidarity for TDP MPs Rail Deeksha
Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Wednesday visited the fast camp of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MPs Deeksha for Vishaka railway zone at Gnanapuram railway station.
The MPs sat on the Deeksha demanding that the Centre immediately establish a new railway zone with headquarters in Visakhapatnam.
Along with the Finance Minister, Ministers Chinna Rajappa, Ganta and Ayyana Paatrudu and Sujay Krishna expressed their solidarity. MPs P Ashok Gajapati Raju, K Rammohan Naidu, Maganti Venkateswara Rao, Konakalla Narayana Rao also participated in the day-long Deeksha.
Speaking at the Deeksha, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that Telugu Desam is the only party producing positive results regarding welfare measures in Andhra Pradesh.
Crediting Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for the development of the state, he said that Chandrababu is considered a national leader and is the only leader who can influence decisions in national level.
The Minister further said that they won't back down and continue the fight until the Visakha Railway Zone is set up.
The Ministers accused the Central government of not fulfilling the promises made in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 further alleging that despite repeated pleas and negotiations over the last four years, the Centre did not move a step forward to set up the new railway zone.
