BJP trying to control AP from Delhi, alleges Minister Yanamala
Amaravati: Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu came down heavily on BJP leaders for their representation to Governor and alleged that the BJP was trying to control Andhra Pradesh indirectly from Delhi. Yanamala said that the complaint to Governor by the BJP leaders could be seen as a climax to their betrayal to Andhra Pradesh and this was done in the directions of party high command in Delhi.
In a release on Wednesday, Yanamala said that the BJP was trying to create disorder in the state for their political gains. “The BJP announced Rayalaseema declaration a few months ago. They provoke Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to speak about North Andhra agitation.
They also instigate YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy to create differences among various sections of people. Finally, they submit complaint to Governor to impose President Rule in the state. The BJP create disorder in the state and even the party itself complains to Governor also seeking president rule citing law and order situation in the state. What is your ill- intention towards Andhra Pradesh,” Yanamala asked.
Reminding that the Prajarajyam party did not get at least 18% of votes, Yanamala said the Jana Sena party also would not win even single digit in the coming general elections. He said Pawan Kalyan, who praised the TDP government six months back, was now criticising the same government only in the direction of BJP. He said the TDP won in the 2014 general elections on its own but not with the support of Pawan Kalyan.
“You (Pawan) are working in the direction of BJP and, at the same time, maintaining relations with Left Parties. You have to give clarity to the people about your political stand,” Yanamala demanded. He also asked why the Jana Sena chief did not speak a single word criticising the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Central government or BJP even as gross injustice was done to the state by the BJP.
He said the YSR Congress, Jana Sena have colluded with the BJP to prevent the Telugu Desam Party from coming into power in the next general elections. Taking on Central Government, Yanamala said the Andhra Pradesh had been promised grants on 90:10 basis for externally aided projects by the Centre but the Union Minister Arun Jaitely later did not stick his word and said that the AP would be given only 60:40 basis on par with all other states in the country. “But the BJP leader are speaking without knowledge by stating that the Centre has done a lot to the state,” he said.
