Amaravati: TDP state president Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao lambasted Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan for his silence on the Central government over its false claims on AP Reorganisation Act.

In a press release on Thursday, he stated that Pawan Kalyan was misleading public by joining hands with both YSRCP and BJP. Venkata Rao said Pawan Kalyan was only making criticism against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for getting political mileage and to benefit to BJP and YSRCP. The Jana Sena leader was completely ignoring the development and welfare activities being undertaken by Naidu government, he said.

He questioned Pawan Kalyan, “Why don’t you demand Central government and the BJP to pass the Kapu reservation Bill, which was passed by the State government as promised in TDP election manifesto.”

The TDP leader further attacked by saying that Pawan did not speak even a single word against Central government, which was providing wrong information to the Supreme Court on implementation of AP Reorganization Act. He said the Centre falsely claiming that they done everything effectively as per the Reorganization Act and there was nothing to do for the state.

Pawan Kalyan, who was touring in North Andhra, was supposed to condemn the Centre for reverting the released amount of Rs 150 crore for that region under Backward Districts Fund, he explained.

He said the Jana Sena chief should demand for Visakhapatnam – Chennai industrial corridor, which should be established by the Central government. Pawan Kalyan did not make noise on the failure of Central government in providing Metro Train to the Vizag and Special Railway Zone at Visakhapatnam. Venkata Rao said Pawan Kalyan never questioned the Centre for not establishing the Tribal University.
