First edition of TiE on July 13
Visakhapatnam: TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) Amaravati announces the first edition of TiE Impact conference on ‘Developing entrepreneurship and enterprise in educational institutions’ here on July 13.
TiE Impact shall bring together educational institutions, incubation centres, accelerators, other ecosystem enablers and government officials.
All the stakeholders can come together to discuss the experiences and success stories and plan for the coming year ahead.
The objective of the conference is to bring guests from successful Incubators and e-Cells in educational institutions to come to Andhra Pradesh and share their experiences and guide the institutions in the state to establish and scale up e-Cells, Incubation Centres and ways to nurture student entrepreneurs and start-ups on campus.
The conference will focus on the further action to support student and graduate entrepreneurship - examining the roles of government, universities, the business community and others.
Mr. Sateesh Andra, President TiE Amaravati said: " Educational institutions play a crucial role in developing the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
As per Kauffman Fellows review, the success of Silicon Valley was possible because of the association with Stanford University.
Hence, through TiE Impact, we are working towards strengthening the ecosystem in the educational institutions by bringing in expertise from all over the country”.
Adding to this Mr. Anudeep Chappa, Associate Director, TiE Amaravati said: All the prospective speakers would be from eminent educational ilike IIM Ahmedabad, IIT Madras/Bombay, IIM Bangalore and ISB.
Nara Lokesh, Minister for Information Technology, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, would be one of our keynote speakers for the event”.
