Srikakulam: Minister for Energy and TDP State President Kimidi Kala Vankata Rao made scathing remarks against YSRCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

He inaugurated a hostel building for model school children at Thamada village in Laveru mandal, along with local leaders, on Saturday.

Addressing a public meeting on the Model School premises, he  criticised the Congress government during the YS Rajasekhara Reddy regime for neglecting irrigation projects and development works.

At that time, YS Jaganmohan Reddy had allegedly exploited the public money to the tune of Rs 1 lakh crore as a result, he is still facing trial before the court and attending courts, he reminded. The minister  called upon the people to compare the governance during the Congress and TDP tenure.

The minister also flayed Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan for his comments against the government and imbalances in development. Instead of demanding for the development of backward areas, Pawan was provoking the people for separatist movement.

He said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was working relentlessly for the development of the state. Zilla Parishad Chairperson Ch Dhanalakshmi explained the development works taken up by the Chief Minister for the growth of the state.
