Chandrababu Naidu severed ties with BJP for political mileage: IYR

Guntur: Former chief secretary IYR Krishna Rao alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had distanced from the BJP for not increasing the Assembly seats in the state.  If the Assembly seats are not increased, the Chief Minister would face problems to accommodate the TDP and YSCP MLAs who shifted their loyalties to TDP. 

Addressing a meeting here on Sunday to mark the completion of four-years ruling of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ornganised under the aegis of Navyandhra Intellectuals Forum here on Sunday, he alleged that though the Centre had rejected to grant Special Category Status, TDP severed ties with BJP after four years. 

He lamented that MPs are not serious about separate railway zone for the state. Similarly, the government is not mounting pressure on the Centre to speed up railway projects in the state.

BJP state leader Y Raghunatha Babu said that the state government is making false propaganda against the Centre and added that Centre is extending necessary cooperation  to the state. He called upon the party activists to explain facts to the voters.

BJP state leader Jupudi Ranga Raju, city president Ammisetty Anjaneyulu, Mirchi Yard former chairman  P Venkateswarulu, Dr Chinta Ramakrishna  were present.
