Daily experiences pave way for stories, says writer Md Khadir Babu

Vijayawada: Story writer Md Khadir Babu said stories will come out from our daily experiences. 

He was the chief guest on the concluding day of two-day training programme on ‘Srujanatmaka Rachana’ organised jointly by Kasturi bimonthly magazine and Sarva Siksha Abhiyan on Sunday.

In the training programme, techniques on writing stories, poems, and essays were taught.

Speaking on the occasion, Khadir said that good and bad thoughts come from human brain and the good should be written as stories to inspire and encourage the community. He said that through literature, human values will increase. The events which take place in society can be taken as articles, he added.

Poet K Vijaya Kumari said that poetry has the strength to express the feeling with minimal words. 

She said that topics around us can be taken as inspiration to write poetry and gave example of Sri Sri and Tilak. She said that in order to write essays, one should read more number of books to increase vocabulary.

Students and parents from across the state participated in the two-day training programme with enthusiasm.

Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya joint secretary V Parvatidevi, Krishnamohan from State CMO, and others were present in the concluding programme.

Participants of drama, painting, story, poem, essays were given prizes.
