Work hard to come up in life, Students told

 Guntur: All India Technical Education Council (AITCE) president Prof D Sahastrabude urged the youth work hard to come up in life.

He addressed a meeting held at RVR&JC Engineering College here on Saturday, on the occasion of 2014-18 batch Graduation Day held in the college. 

Speaking on this occasion, he said that students who came from rural backgrounds faced a problem to understand lessons in English and added that the students in Kerala and Tamil Nadu were also facing problem.

He further said that they would introduce a three-week induction programme from the next year. He reminded that they have introduced changes in the syllabus. 

He said that they were now concentrating on the conduct of examinations and problems being faced by the students. 

AP Council of Higher Education chairman Vijaya Raju said that the government was allotting 13 per cent funds for higher education in the budget. He said that they were trying to bring out innate talent in the students. 

ANU Vice-Chancellor Dr A Rajendra Prasad, Dr A Gopala Krishna Gokhale, former MLC A Rajendra Prasad, college president Dr Kondabolu Basava Punnaiah, secretary Rayapati Gopala Krishna, treasurer Dr Maddineni Gopala Krishna, college principal Kota Srinivas were among those participated.
