Ongole: The YSR Congress Party Ongole town president, Singaraju Venkata Rao said that it is not important how many years we live, but it is important how we live in society.

He participated in the 69th birth anniversary of the former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy at the YSRCP office on Sunday.

Venkata Rao said that almost every poor man in the state received benefits from the education, health, development and welfare schemes introduced by Rajasekhara Reddy when he was chief minister of the state.

He said that while Rajasekhara Reddy ruled the state with welfare in mind, Chandrababu Naidu was ruling the state now with corruption and looting the public’s money.

He alleged that the welfare schemes in the Chandrababu Naidu government were limited to only the TDP cadre while Rajasekhara Reddy extended every scheme to everyone in the state.

He called the party cadre to rest not until they make Jaganmohan Reddy as the chief minister to see happiness in the eyes of the poor and downtrodden.

Later, the BC Cell president Katari Sankar organised a blood donation camp at CVN Reading Room.

The YSRCP official spokesperson, Battula Brahmananda Reddy, Peddireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Gangada Sujatha, Prabhavati and others organised various programmes in the town.
