Chandrababu Naidu seeks Singapore help to secure loans at low interest

Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu hoped that by collaborating with Singapore financial institutions and corporate companies, best products could be produced in the world market.  He said that AP has large number of skilled human resources and Singapore has strong economic system.

“By bringing both of these together, we could produce high-end products,” said Chandrababu Naidu while interacting with Singapore Finance Minister Hung Swee Keat on Tuesday on the third day of his Singapore tour. He returned to AP after this meeting.

Chandrababu Naidu requested Hung Swee Keat to support Andhra Pradesh in getting low interest rate financial support for creation of social infrastructure and assets. He further asked him to ensure that Singapore firms also will be partners in the industries to be established in Andhra Pradesh by global-level corporate companies.

He said that he will construct Amaravati capital city with the support of the cutting edge technology available in Singapore. Naidu said that by bringing the technology into governance, the State government is not only providing quality services to the citizens but also ensuring accountability.

The Chief Minister explained that AP is number one in Ease-of-Doing business in the country and will offer enormous opportunities for investors in various sectors including tourism, real estate, IT, electronics and others.

Lee Kuan Yew appreciates Naidu: Praising the Chief Minister, Singapore Finance Minister Lee Kuan Yew described Naidu as an able leader who has been striving to achieve big goals.

He further stated that AP has the great advantage of possessing skilled and hardworking youth. He promised Chandrababu Naidu that he will ensure maximum support from Singapore government in motivating various companies and financial institutions to invest in Andhra Pradesh and to provide loans at low interest rates.

Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Minister for Urban Development P Narayana, AP EDB CEO J Krishna Kishore, CRDA Commissioner Cherukuri Sridhar and others were present.
