Kakinada Mayor visits water-logged areas

​Kakinada: Mayor Sunkara Pavani visited water-logged areas in 43rd division here on Monday. The mayor along with corporator JD Pawan, corporation EE Satyanarayana Raju and sanitary inspector Ravi Varma visited the areas which were inundated due to heavy rains in the last two days.

The locals informed the mayor about their problems. They sought regular cleaning of drains and removal of garbage heaps in the areas to clear stagnated water. Mayor Pavani assured them to take necessary measures and directed the officials to initiate necessary steps.
