Low-lying areas water logged due to rains in Gunntur

​Guntur: Several low-lying areas remain water-logged here due to heavy rain during the last two days. AT Agraharam, Guntur Medical College Road, some areas in Amaravati Road were water-logged. Two-wheeler riders and pedestrians faced a lot of problems. 

The Public Health department dug road for laying underground pipelines, but failed to cover the potholes. When the holes were filled with rain water on the Amaravati Road, two-wheeler riders faced a lot of inconvenience. They have been requesting the GMC to fill the holes on the roads immediately to avoid accidents.
