Philanthropist Dakoju Ravishankar felicitated in Vijayawada

​Vijayawada: Income Tax Commissioner, Chennai N Srinivas  praised businessman and builder Dakoju Ravishankar for his generosity to donate Rs 100 crore to Rotary Club International, Bangalore.

In this regard, a felicitation programme was organised by Viswas voluntary organisation here on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner said that Ravishankar was an inspiration to many people to take initiative to serve society, poor and the needy. He said that it was a gesture of humanity to donate to a voluntary organisation and serve the poor, said the Commissioner.

Viswabrahmina community president G Chakravarthy said that it was very difficult to find people with generous nature to donate money and benefit the poor. He said that Ravishankar belongs to Vizianagaram district and settled at Bangalore.

Vishwas organisation coordinator G Subramanyeswara Rao, G Mallikarjuna Rao of Viswakarma Foundation, Hyderabad and others felicitated Ravishankar with shawl and garland on the occasion.
