Woman dies as RTC bus hits van

Vizianagaram: A woman was killed, and two others sustained injuries when a speedy RTC bus hit a Tata magic van in Nelivada village of Bondapalli mandal in Vizianagaram district on Monday.

According to reports, Sheik Begum of Appayyapeta village Bobbili mandal has been travelling with Sheik Haneef, a driver and her daughter Fatima Begum to their native village from Vizianagaram in their own  vehicle.

When they reached Nelivada village, a speedy RTC bus from Salur hit their vehicle. Sheik Begum was killed on the spot and the driver and her daughter were injured seriously.
