Nayeebrahmin body holds awareness meet

Vijayawada: To create awareness on various schemes introduced by the state government, a workshop was organised by the AP Nayeebrahmin Federation at Indian Medical Association (IMA) hall here on Monday.

Addressing the media, Andhra Pradesh Nayeebrahmin Federation chairman Guntupalli Nageswara Rao said the state government had introduced various schemes for the development of the Nayeebrahmin community and to create awareness on the schemes the workshop was organised.

On behalf of all the community people, he thanked Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for allocating Rs 70 crore for the welfare and development of Nayeebrahmin community this year. 

He said that identity cards would be issued to the musicians by the government.

He said under skill development project, women would be given training on tailoring and fashion design courses free and stipend would be given to them.

After the course completion, the women would be given sewing machines free, he added.
