Woman gets her father killed in Nuzvid

Vijayawada: Extramarital affairs are claiming the lives of family members, including wives, husbands and even the fathers. In recent months, many cases were reported that wives are killing husbands with the help of their paramours. In a different case, a woman brutally murdered her father because she felt that her father was a hurdle to her affair.

According to Challapalli police, a 60-year-old man was murdered by his daughter and her paramour in Nuzvid on June 30. It came to light on Wednesday. The accused woman had a 20- year old-son, who is studying engineering and wanted to conceal the matter of her love affair. She was afraid that her father Krishna Prasad would reveal her extramarital affair to her son.

In order to stave off the threat she wanted to eliminate her father by killing him. Her paramour  Vemula Venkateswra Rao smashed his head with an iron rod and dumped the  body in Challapalli mandal. According to police, Kaja Krishna Prasad, 60, was found dead near Puridigadda village of Challapalli mandal on July 1, 2018.

The police registered a case of death under suspicious circumstances. During the course of investigation, they came to know that his daughter, along with her paramour, murdered him in Nuzvid and took the body in a car and dumped near Puritigadda village in Challapalli mandal.

The police said the victim Krishna Prasad after the death of his wife had been living at the residence of his daughter Lingamaneni Seshu Kumari for the past few years in Nuzvid. The 39-year-old Seshu Kumari’s husband died 20 years ago. She has developed extramarital affair with Vemula Venkateswara Rao of Nuzvid.

On June 30, Krishna Prasad noticed that his daughter Kumari is maintaining an affair with Venkateswara Rao. She was afraid that her father would reveal her affair to her son who is studying engineering and decided to eliminate him.

Challapalli police said the accused, Venkateswara Rao, murdered the old man smashing his head with the iron road. The incident took place when Kumari’s son went to Rajamahendravaram to meet his friends.

After the death, the duo had dumped the body in the dickey of a car and drove the vehicle from Nuzvid to Challapalli and thrown it on the roadside. The local villagers of Puritigadda informed the Challapalli police about the body.

The police during the course of investigation noticed that Kumari, along with her paramour, murdered the deceased and arrested them. They were produced before the media on Wednesday.  The police collected vital evidence from the mobile call data and CCTV footage.
