TNUS leaders meet PRC Commissioner Ashutosh Misra

Vijayawada: The Telugu Nadu Upadhyaya Sangam (TNUS) honorary president and MLC Dr AS Ramakrishna along with TNUS leaders met 11th Pay Revision Commission Commissioner Ashutosh Misra, appointed by the state government, here on Wednesday.

Ramakrishna and TNUS leaders gave a representation to the Commissioner requesting him to make fair recommendation to all the state government employees.

In reply, the Commissioner said that he also hails from a teacher's family and his father was also a teacher, and his family members have four teachers. He ensured that the teachers would get all their arrears and assured that he would recommend a better salary benefit to the teachers.

TNUS leader Bose expressed his happiness that the government had appointed an experienced retired IAS officer as the 11th PRC commissioner. 

He said that the new commissioner would respond positively towards the teachers’ problems and pending arrears and prepare a report in favour of the teachers at the earliest.

The leaders honoured the commissioner with a shawl and flower bouquet.

TNUS state president Reddy Ramesh, G Pradeep, Pinakapani and others were present.
