Buggana Rajendranath Reddy rubbishes TDP claims
Hyderabad: Rubbishing the hyperbolic claims of Chandrababu Naidu on development in the state, YSR Congress has said that the parameters of ease of doing business does not match with the flow of investment in to the state.
Speaking to media here on Friday, party MLA and PAC Chairman Buggana Rajendranath Reddy called the bluff of Chandrababu Naidu government and his friendly media by doling out data that shows that the ranking in ease of doing business has no corresponding effect on the inflow of investments.
While states that do not find a place in the ranking of ease of doing business have attracted more investments and those that made it to the list got very meagre investments. Maharashtra, West Bengal, Nagaland, Haryana, Jharkhand and other states have topped in the flow of investments according to date released by the Centre while Andhra Pradesh stood behind Nagaland and Telangana. Nagaland could compete with other states as it has Special Category Status (SCS), he said.
Two other surveys conducted by reputed agencies have earlier placed Andhra Pradesh on top of the table in terms of corruption, he said.
The recent tour of Chandrababu Naidu to Singapore has been projected as if he was invited as a dignitary or as a special guest, but in fact it was a programme organised by a private organisation, where anyone can attend if the delegate fees is paid.
The event was meant for Mayors of different cities and for Young Leaders. Chandrababu Naidu fits into neither of the categories. Another factor of interest is that Chandrababu Naidu has always been touring with Yanamala Ramakrishnudu in tow, for whatever reason while Finance Ministry seems to be jinxed for TDP.
Chandrababu Naidu has toured Singapore on at least six occasions and his tall talk there surprised everyone back home as he has been telling in interviews that the state capital has numerous infrastructure facilities and is a world class city and has been offering land on a platter.
Singapore businessmen must be a happy lot as they are getting a head-start with minimum effort and the Chandrababu Naidu government has been promising to provide all facilities on very liberal terms, he said.
Chandrababu Naidu has mastered the art giving ambiguous statements and speaking incoherently which has been flowing without any interruption and he has been telling that all the promises were nearly fulfilled which is absurd, he said.
