Seer sees other motives behind his expulsion
Kakinada: Paripoornananda Swamy of Sripeetam alleged that there were reasons for his banishment from Hyderabad other than that were being cited by Hyderabad police.
Speaking to media at his ashram here on Thursday, the seer said that he had received similar orders from both Cyberabad and Rachakonda police commissionerates apart from Hyderabad on his externment.
“I followed whatever the police said without a word in Hyderabad. Despite this, the police were very harsh towards me and did not allow me to conduct peaceful padayatra outside Hyderabad just by walking while chanting Lord Rama’s name,” the seer said.
Paripoornananda thanked the people of Telangana for the affection they had showered on him for all these years. “I will not tolerate any adverse comments and remarks on Lord Rama and will continue my fight against elements who indulge in such activities peacefully,” he declared.
