AP Govt planning to revamp education system
Visakhapatnam: TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) Amaravati organised the first edition of TiE Impact 2018 in Vizag on ‘Developing entrepreneurship and enterprise in educational institutions,” here on Friday.
Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj Nara Lokesh was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasised that it’s high time to kick-start entrepreneur skills right from the schooling among the children.
He complimented TiE Amaravati for organising the TiE Impact conference and underscored the role of educational institutions in identifying talent in students. Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao, addressing the gathering said that the government is planning to revamp the education system to ensure quality and talented brains to shape up.
The TiE Impact 2018 brought speakers from successful Incubators and e-Cells in educational institutions to Andhra Pradesh to share their experiences and guide the institutions in the state to establish and scale up e-Cells, Incubation Centres and ways to nurture student entrepreneurs and start-ups on campus.
The conference focused on creating a positive ecosystem to support student and graduates while examining the roles of government, universities, the business community and others to act as a catalyst in the process of entrepreneurship.
Presiding the conference, Sateesh Andra, President of TiE Amaravati, said that the TiE aims to foster the entrepreneurship through right mentoring, creating networking opportunities and correct education followed by incubation and funding.
