Centre committed to AP development, says Minister JPNadda

Guntur: Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare JPNadda said that the Centre government is committed for the development of Andhra Pradesh. Addressing BJP district unit party activists meeting held at the Guntur Convention Centre on Friday, he said the Centre is ready to give some more funds to AP if Utilisation Certificates are submittedand added that so far Centre had sanctioned 18 institutions like AIIMS, IITto Andhra Pradesh.

He dismissed allegations that the Centre is not extending any support for the development of AP.He urged the party activists to conduct campaign about welfare schemes and developments works taken up by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the last four years to strengthen the party from the grass root level in the state. 

He said that they are visiting all the Central government funded projects in the state and added that as part of that, he has visited AIIMS. Naddasaid that the Centre will launch Ayushman  Bharat scheme to give medical insurance to poor families in the country, which will be inaugurated  soon. He said that after Narendra Modi became Prime Minister world countries looking at India. 

Former Union minister and BJP leader DaggubatiPurandeswari said that the Centre is extending cooperation for the development of AP and dismissed allegations that the Centre is not extending helping hand to A.P. BJP state president KannaLakshminarayana said that Centre is releasing funds for the development of AP and there is no truth in the allegations that the Centre is not cooperating with the state. 

MLAs Kamineni Srinivas and PMankyala Rao were among those participated. Earlier, Speaking to media at his residence, KannaLakshminarayana said that the Centre has sent teams to Andhra Pradesh to study on kidney related problems. He said that the Centre will set up dialysis centres in the state soon.
