Good response to Anna canteens in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: Anna canteens which started functioning at two places in the city on Wednesday are getting good response. 

Queues were found at government hospital and quarry centre canteens. The government is supplying food for Rs 5 only for the benefit of the poor. 

Meanwhile, the canteen arranged at government headquarters hospital is receiving good rush.

The people coming to the hospital for treatment and attendants of the patients are taking the food in the canteen. Along with lunch, many are taking breakfast also in the canteens.

A Appa Rao, an attendant of a patient who came from Jaggampeta said the canteen management is supplying quality food for Rs 5, which helps a lot of the poor people. 

He underlined the need to start some more Anna Canteens in the city.
