Grama Darsini, Vikasam from July 16
Amaravati: With TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu is going to complete 1,500 days as Chief Minister on July 16, the party has planned to conduct Grama Darsini and Grama Vikasam simultaneously across the state.
The state government will organise Grama Darsini while the party will conduct Grama Vikasam. In these programmes, the party and government officials will explain the development and welfare programmes being initiated by the government in the last four years.
Addressing a review meeting of planning department officials here on Saturday, Naidu said the programmes would be organised to create awareness among people on the welfare and development programmes being taken up by state government.
He said IAS, IPS, IFS and other officials should attend the Grama Darsini programme twice in a week and they should make night halt in villages to know the problems of people and take steps to resolve their grievances.
Naidu said officials should prepare an action plan on development programmes to be taken up in villages and announce vision document during Janma Bhoomi programme to be held in January.
He said the vision document would help to prepare state level vision documents and added the officials should bring awareness among people on public distribution system, Chandranna Bima, CM Relief Fund, employment opportunities available in the state and others.
Naidu said that Grama Darsini would help to resolve the grievances in implementation of welfare programmes. He said officials should attend regular duties on Monday and Saturday and attend Grama Darsini on every Wednesday and Thursday.
He directed the officials of planning department to prepare action plan to implement Grama Darsini for a period of six months.
