Junior Inter student of Sri Chaitanya ends life

Vijayawada: A junior intermediate student of Sri Chaitanya Junior College, M Nitin committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan at the college hostel here on Friday. He left a suicide note to his father asking him to take care of his mother and sister, according to Patamata Station House Officer (SHO) K Umamaheswara Rao.

Nitin joined Sri Chaitanya Junior College at Gurunanak Colony campus in the city two months ago in MPC group. The SHO said that the college watchman noticed  Nitin hanging from the fan at the hostel at about 11 a.m. The management immediately shifted him to the hospital and by the time he was rushed to the hospital, he died.

The Station House Officer  said that Nitin’s father Manyam Srinivasa Rao, bank employee, gave a complaint to the Patamata Police Station. On the complaint, they visited the spot in Gurunanak Colony and registered a case. The reasons for his suicide are not known.
