Stranded AP pilgrims in Nepal to reach Guntur on July 14

Amaravati: All the stranded pilgrims in Nepal have been shifted to Nepalgunj on Friday. All the pilgrims from Guntur are also in Nepalgunj. According to latest information from the AP Chief Minister's Real Time Governance Centre at Secretariat at Velagapudi, out of the 130 pilgrims, 15 pilgrims have reached to Hyderabad Airport on Friday. RTGC officials have said that the Nepal government had provided all the facilities to the pilgrims. The Guntur pilgrims may reach city by Saturday morning, they said.

The stranded pilgrims expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for his efforts to bring back them safely. Pilgrims also expressed thanks to officials of government of AP including officials of AP Bhavan and staff of RTGC, who were engaged in rescue efforts from day one onwards.

Pilgrims said that they did not face any problems during their travel and informed that the Nepal government helped a lot for their safe return. But, they accused the Travel Agent stating that they had faced difficulties because of him. They demanded stringent punishment to the Travel Agent.
