Steps initiated for alternative political system in AP: CPI

Rajamahendravaram:CPI state secretary K Ramakrishna said that steps were initiated tocreate an alternative political system in the state, as the existing systemmiserably failed to deliver the goods. Participating in a meeting held on Social Justice-Dalit Welfare at River BayResorts conducted by CPI and CPM here on Saturday, he said the alternativesystem will come up with Jana Sena Party (JSP), CPI, CPM, AamAadmiParty and otherlike-minded parties.

He underlined the need to defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ChiefMinister N Chandrababu Naidu in the forthcoming general elections as both have cheated the people of the state.  He stressed on the need to send honest leaders to Assembly and Parliamentas the present MLAs are indulged in making money in sand mining,liquor etc.Corruption has been increased in the state and Chief Minister Nara ChandrababuNaidu failed to curb the menace, the CPI leader alleged.

“Both TDP and YSR Congress Party are not doing any social justice. In Andhra Pradesh there are 17percent of SCs, 5percent STs, 50 percent BCsand 4 percent Minorities. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu failed to distribute evena single acreto the poor people, but giving hundreds of acres of land to corporate companies,’’ Ramakrishna said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi failed to fulfil the promises given to thepeople during the last four years. Because of him 73percent of wealth accumulated with1percent of people like Tatas, Ambanis, Birlas etc and 27 percent of wealth remain with 99 percent of others in the state. CPM leader V Srinivasa Rao, CPI and CPM district leaders T Madhu, NR Rao,MS Narayana, DS Rao, T Arun, TS Prakash and others were present.
