APSSDC holds Maha Job Mela
Tanuku: The AP State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) in association with SKSD Women’s College organised a Maha Job Mela here on Sunday.
The degree college principal Dr P Aruna presided over a meeting held to mark the occasion. She called upon the students to avail the opportunities provided through the APSSDC.
It was a happiest moment that job mela was organised at their college. APSSDC district manager A Krishna Reddy informed the gathering that the State government had set up the corporation with a view to helping students gain skills necessary to get job at the end of studies.
TDP town unit president K Venkata Krishna wished the candidates to avail the opportunity provided by the government. The mela was the biggest event in the town, he added.
The college founder, secretary and correspondent Ch Subba Rao urged the students to grab the opportunities come their way to succeed in life.
MLA A Radhakrishna informed that 35 companies had participated in the mela.
Iragavaram ZPTC chairman Ch Sai Babu, administrative officer Dr D Subba Rao, HR representatives of various companies, placement officers Lakshmi Sundari Bai, K Padmaja Rani, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college and students were present.
