TDP not keen on Hardware Park: Purandeswari

Kakinada: BJP leader and former Union minister D Purandeswari alleged that lack of interest on the part of state government is the reason for non-execution of Hardware Project sanctioned for Kakinada in 2014 by the NDA government.

Speaking to  media persons at R and B  Guest House here on Sunday,  the BJP leader said that their party leader  P Ravi Karan received a reply for his RTI application  about lack  of interest on part of state  government in the provision of infrastructure  in execution of the  project in Kakinada.

The hardware park on execution will provide a large scale employment for both technical and non-technical persons, the BJP leader said.

She also alleged that the HPCL project sanctioned for Kakinada was also in cold storage due to lack of interest on part of state government.

Purandeswari said that the Indian Institute of Packaging sanctioned for Kakinada was also ignored by the state government. She charged the government with not availing the funds sanctioned for Kakinada Smart City.

Party leaders Y Malakondayya, P Ravi Karan, V Suryanarayana   Raju were present.  

The followers of K Hari Babu, party MP from Visakhapatnam, were conspicuous by their absence.
