Vijayawada: BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana said that majority political parties in the country have confidence in the BJP’s rule. Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, he said that the TDP MPs failed to meet leaders of Shiv Sena party.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu went to Delhi recently to form the new front, he said and added that the Chief Minister could only meet leaders of a few parties.

He said that former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was also responsible for the present plight of the State. Kanna alleged that the State government was tapping his phone calls. He sought the government to provide clarification in this regard.

The Telugu Desam leaders were provoking the BJP by attacking the party workers and leaders, he said. He demanded that the government should book cases against the TDP leaders for their involvement in attacks against the leaders of BJP.

He said the Centre allocated Rs 13,000 crore under special package but the State government failed to complete the projects. The Chief Minister was misusing public funds without proper development plans, he alleged.

He asked the Chief Minister as to why he left Hyderabad when it was declared as a common capital for Andhra Pradesh for 10 years. He pointed out that a majority of combined assets were still in Hyderabad.

He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu came from Hyderabad only to escape from the Cash-for-Vote case.  BJP state secretary Jammula Shyam Kishore and other leaders were present.
