The ZP chief praised District Collector PS Pradyumna for ensuring support price for mango farmers. Girvani asked ZPTC members to advise farmers to go for alternative crop pattern. In the meeting, officials of the Rural Water Supply (RWS) department were instructed by ZP Chairperson to supply drinking water in Kuppam and western parts of the district through hired tankers.

ZPTC members brought to the notice of the ZP chief that doctors working in the Primary Health Centres (PHCs) were not attending the duties. She instructed DMHO Dr Vijaya Gowri to act against those doctors, who are negligent in discharging duties and submit a report to her.

While assuring ZPTC members for allocation of funds to all mandals, Girvani directed district officials to attend the standing committee meeting without fail. ZP Chief Executive Officer Ravi Kumar Naidu, ZPTC members and officials were present.
