AU-BTH offering CSE from this year
Visakhapatnam: Andhra University in collaboration with Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Sweden, is offering four-year B Tech programme since 2016 in ECE and Mechanical Engineering. Now, Andhra University is offering Computer Science branch from this academic year.
The BTH is ranked fifth in world in software engineering. The student enrolled in the programme will study three years at Andhra University College of Engineering and one year at BTH, Sweden. After the successful completion of studies, Andhra University will award B Tech and BTH will award BS in Computer Science and Software Engineering.
Gurudutt Velpula, Director of India Initiatives of BTH, on Tuesday met Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University Prof G Nageswara Rao and Prof E Dhanamjaya Rao, Dean International Affairs of Andhra University, on the occasion of starting the new branch.
The Vice-Chancellor congratulated Venugopal Puripanda, an alumnus of AU-BTH, ECE branch secured employment in Volvo Gothenburg, Sweden as a Sensor Verification Engineer. The student thanked Andhra University and BTH for providing an opportunity.
