IRCTC to organise Ramayana, Nava Jyothirlinga Yatras

Tirupati: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited(IRCTC) has come up with two more packages for the pilgrims titled Nava Jyothirlinga Yatra and Ramayana Yatra with full AC trains.

Disclosing the details to media here on Wednesday, IRCTC area manager BV Ramesh said Nava Jyothirlinga Yatra (SZATT04) will commence from July 31 and concludes on August 13 coveringMallikarjunaswamy, Omkareshwar, Mahabaleshwar, Somnath, Bhimshankar, Triambakeshwar, Grushneshwar, AyundhNagnath and ParliVaijinath.

The total package cost was fixed at Rs40,900 with double sharing per person in 3-tier AC coach. For this tour, boarding and deboarding stoppages available at Chennai-Egmore station and Vijayawada.

The Ramayana Yatra (SZATT05) will be commenced on August 28 and concludes on September 8 coveringPanchavati, Chitrakoot, Shrigverpur, TulsiManas Mandir, Darbhanga, Sita Marhi, Ayodhya and Rameshwaram and the package cost is Rs41,500 per person on double sharing basis in 3-tier AC coach.

For this tour, the boarding point is Renigunta along with Chennai-Egmore. The Central, state government and PSU employees can avail LTC facility as per eligibility norms, said the area manager.

He said IRCTC will also organise a tour to Japan “Splendours of Japan” from September 29 for 8 days and the package costs Rs1.98 lakh.
