Sri Venkateswara University Engineering students stage stir

Tirupati: Students of Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) College of Engineering have staged a dharna in front of the varsity Administrative Building here on Tuesday, to resolve their issues.

They demanded that the SVU officials should provide a separate hostel facility for them and to release the results as per schedule. Students met SVU Vice-Chancellor (V-C) Avula Damodaram and brought their problems to his notice.

The V-C assured students of resolving their problems at the earliest. SVU Engineering College Principal Pradeep Kumar, Vice-Principal Nagendra Prasad and other officials were present.
