4 more APSRTC buses between Pandit Nehru Bus Station, AP Secretariat

Vijayawada: Water Resources Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao flagged off four metro buses at Pandit Nehru Bus Station (PNBS) here on Wednesday.

The minister participated as the chief guest to flag off the new bus services from PNBS to AP Secretariat.

Addressing the media persons at PNBS, the minister said that AP State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) is plying about 18 buses from PNBS to AP Secretariat every day. 

There is bus facility to AP Secretariat every 15 minutes for the convenience of the commuters. 

The four new buses will ply from PNBS to AP Secretariat via Undavalli village.

He urged the all commuters to avail the APSRTC services in the state to prevent road accidents and to reach their destination safely. 

The state government would run more Pallevelugu buses to rural areas to prevent road accidents and improve APSRTC services to reduce losses, he added.

Mayor K Sreedhar, APSRTC chairman Varla Ramaiah, MD Surendra Babu also spoke on the occasion.
