Vijayawada: BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana wrote letter to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu posing five questions on Wednesday. Earlier, he wrote a letter to Naidu raising 10 questions. He demanded that the Chief Minister should give reply on various issues.

He said the lands in Amaravati were looted and handed over to Singapore in the model of kings who gave away wealth of the country to East India Company in the past.

Kanna said that the government handed over 1,691 acres of costliest lands to Singapore companies. He said that the farmers gave 33,000 acres to State government but now the lands are being given to Singapore companies.

No infrastructure was developed in the lands of farmers but the State government made plans to provide all facilities to Singapore companies with its own cost, he said. The BJP State president also said that AP had become debt-ridden State under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

The State debts increased from Rs 1 lakh crore to Rs 2.23 lakh crore during the last four years, he said and added that the Chief Minister was responsible for the whole situation. He recalled that 29 people lost their lives during Godavari Pushkaralu. The publicity mania of Chief Minister was the reason for the deaths, he alleged.

He said the Chief Minister had earlier accepted the special package instead of special status. He also alleged that the State government was enjoying the funds which were being released under special package. He asked why the Chief Minister was blaming the Centre when it released funds for State development.
