He participated as chief guest in Grama Darsini programme held at SC Colony of Sanivarapupeta here.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the merged villages would see infrastructure development without increase in house taxes.

He promised underground drainage system, improved sanitation and pleasant environment.

As a first step towards realising this achievement, they had been taking up tree plantation on a massive scale, he explained.

He informed the gathering that they had planned a Shadikhana at Sanivarapupet to help Muslims perform their marriages and other functions.

This Shadikhana would be built within six months. Funds had also been sanctioned for another Kalyana Mandapam in Sanivarapupeta, he added.
