Chennupati Seshagiri Rao services remembered

Vijayawada: Glowing tributes were paid to the late Chennupati Seshagiri Rao on his 10th death anniversary here on Thursday. On the occasion, the speakers recalled their association with the atheist leader and founder of AP Lorry Owners Association and husband of former MP Chennupati Vidya at Vasavya Mahila Mandali Silver Jubilee Hall in the city.

Chennupati Vidya recalled her 60-year-long association with her husband and how he had supported her throughout her political career. Vijayawada East MLA Gadde Ramamohan distributed books and scholarships to students during the meeting. Lorry owners Nagabhushanam and Murali recalled how Chennupati Seshagiri Rao had encouraged them to run the lorries. 

Chennupati Seshagiri Rao Memorial Charitable Trust has been helping the students to continue their studies by financially helping them. Some of them are even pursuing post-graduation studies.
