Farmer threatens to commit suicide

Kurnool: A farmer climbed a high-tension electricity pole on Friday and threatened to commit suicide by jumping off the pole near Allagadda. Bhaskar, a resident of Bachupally village in Allagadda mandal, took extreme step as mandal surveyor Ravi Prakash was not taking up survey of his farm land despite submitting the application two years ago. 

Vexed with the attitude of the mandal surveyor, Allagadda Circle Inspector M Srinath Reddy said that Bhaskar climbed the high-tension power pole and threatened to jump off the pole. However, he was brought down with the assurance of Ravi Prakash for surveying his land.
