Amaravati: Heaping praise on party MP Galla Jayadev who opened the debate in Lok Sabha on the no-confidence motion on Friday, TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh said that Jayadev truly represented the aspirations of Andhra Pradesh people while moving the motion against the NDA government.

“TDP’s @JayGalla delivered a rousing speech exposing the injustices done to AP. These are not just words of TDP but also of 5 Cr people of AP who feel betrayed by the Centre for breaking every promise in the AP Reorg Act 2014. Why is AP being played with? #APDemandsJustice", said Lokesh in a tweet.

Implementation of a promise is what we ask for from the Modi regime, 10 years of SCS was what was promised to us, he said. “It has been 4 years and the promise has not seen the light of day! Why is AP being singled out? #APDemandsJustice”, he maintained in another tweet.

“Rightly said by @JayGalla - “This is not a war between BJP and TDP” but a war between the Modi regime and the 5 crore people of AP, a war to honor an Act of Parliament and assurances made by Prime Minister in Parliament. #APDemandsJustice #NoConfidenceMotion”, he said.

Lambasting on the BJP leaders, he said, “Enough of your drama and enough of your time pass tactics. Every Telugu will rise for AP, every man and woman will join the battle against Centre because. #APDemandsJustice”

“We pleaded, we waited and we made the rounds: read @ncbn visited Delhi 30 times. But, we got what in return? Fake promises, fake assurances and fake smiles. Nothing moved, nothing happened. For what you did, if not for @ncbn AP would have become an abandoned child without parents, without hope.”, he tweeted.

On the other hand, Chief Minister and TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu also tweeted that, “Initiating the #NoConfidenceMotion, @jaygalla comprehensively exposed injustice done to AP. On behalf of 5 Cr people of AP, we demand PM to fulfill all the assurances given to AP by the then PM and implement the provisions of AP Reorganisation Act 2014 #APDemandsJustice.”
