Rally demanding special railway zone

Visakhapatnam: The Jana Jagarana Samithi followers  and students took out a rally here on Thursday demanding that the Central government announce a special railway zone Visakhpatnam as headquarters in the ensuing Parliament session.

President of Jana Jagarana Samithi K Vasu said that though people are agitating since decades for special railway zone but in vain. All the political parties should mount pressure on the BJP at the Centre in announcing special railway zone during the monsoon session. Students raised slogans demanding special category status to the state.
