Truck with mobiles worth `7.5 crore goes missing

 Addanki: A truck with mobile phones worth Rs 7.5 crores went missing in Prakasam district on Thursday in the early hours. Police stated that they have successfully traced out the location of the lorry and are investigating the case to find out the culprits.

Circle Inspector of Addanki M Hymarao said that a driver from Tamil Nadu, Ranganath, had started from the Xiaomi Assembling unit in Sri City of Chittoor district with mobile phones worth Rs 7.50 crore loaded in a truck with registration number TN67H1293, on Wednesday night. He should deliver the truck at Xiaomi godown in Kolkata. He took a break at Medarametla on road side to have something to eat in a nearby dhaba, in the early hours of Thursday.

The driver complained to the Medarametla police that the truck went missing by the time he returned after having food. He said that he searched in the nearby areas already and requested the police to trace the vehicle.  

After primary investigation, the police suspected the driver and kept tracking his phone calls. They found the location of the truck and they have to apprehend the culprits involved in the truck theft. Hymaraohoped that the police will arrest all theculprits involved in the case by Friday and will take the truck into their possession.
