National Stock Exchange offers training to PG students

Vijayawada: Following the agreement between the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Academy it has been agreed to facilitate skill training for Degree and PG students in Commerce and Finance, said Anil Kumar, executive director of the APSSDC. 

In this regard, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Vice-President of National Stock Exchange Academy, Achal Jaiswal here on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, executive director Anil Kumar said that currently there is a demand for commerce and finance sectors in the market and in this backdrop, the NSE came forward to provide training in addition to regular courses for students.

He said that courses offered by the National Stock Exchange Academy were part of this agreement. He appealed the students to enroll in Employee Skills Centres managed under APSSDC across the state. APSSDC managing director in-charge and CEO M Varaprasad said that these courses will enable students to develop skills in the capital markets and secure jobs and employment opportunities.
