Mega medical camp organised at Tada

Tirupati: In line with its commitment towards providing health care amenities for the people of the neighbouring areas, Sri City Foundation in association with the Chennai based SRM Institutes of Medical Sciences (SIMS) organised a mega free multi-speciality health check-up camp on Saturday. The health camp, held on the premises of the Grama Panchayat office, Tada evoked good response with people utilising the medical services offered. 

A team of doctors from SIMS - Vadapalani, Chennai, that included specialists in General Medicine, Pulmonology and Plastic & General Surgery, along with supporting paramedical staff, conducted the camp. Over 265 patients from different villages of Tada and neighbouring mandals turned at the health camp. About 65 cases of pulmonology, 40 plastic & reconstructive surgery cases and 160 general medicine cases were screened. In addition to free consultations and check-ups, the camp offered free medicines and laboratory investigations. The founder and MD of Sri City Ravindra Sannareddy said that Sri City has been undertaking various initiatives to promote health and well-being of the communities residing in and around the facility.
