It’s Modi who fell in Jagan’s trap: Minister

Amaravati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi fell in the trap of YSRCP and was supporting the party which was synonymous with corruption, said minister for social welfare Nakka Ananda Babu.  He also accused BJP and YSRCP of hatching conspiracies  against the TDP government and of indulging in collusive politics, because of which the TDP quit the NDA.

Hitting out at the Modi’s criticism against Chief Minister that the latter fell in the trap of YSRCP, the minister while addressing a press conference at the Secretariat here on Monday, said  Narendra Modi gave secret appointments to YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

The Minister said that Prime Minister met Jagan Mohan Reddy secretly and took the support from it for Presidential and Vice Presidential elections, when TDP was in the NDA. After coming to know of all these collusive politics and realising the injustice being done by BJP to Andhra Pradesh, the TDP came out from the NDA and began fighting against the Central government.

Anananda Babu added that there was no use with the state-wide bandh called by the YSRCP on Tuesday demanding Special Category Status to AP. He said that the YSRCP failed to protest in New Delhi and could not bring the No-Confidence Motion against the Central government. But the TDP did it and hence the YSRCP was doing this bandh to cover up its failure, he added.
